It must be stressed here, that "KXOK Radio" was a big part of living in the St. Louis area during the '60's. It's music spanned generations and genres with Johnny Cash and Glen Campbell's music being played along side Frank Sinatra, The Turtles, Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. "Johnny Rabbit and Bruno J. Grunion" actually competed in the evenings with "prime time" TV during the "golden years of television". It was a rare time when many parents actually listened to the same radio as their kids and teenagers.
